PocketScan is not visible while in pairing mode

Make sure PocketScan is really in pairing mode
-> After having pressed the power button for 4-6 seconds, the red and blue LED should be flashing, indicating that PocketScan is in pairing mode

Make sure the Bluetooth version is at least V2.1
-> Internal chip or dongle must support a minimum standard of Bluetooth 2.1. 

Try to disable WiFi to avoid interferences

Windows: Make sure the Bluetooth drivers are installed correctly and are updated to the newest version.

If the above did not help, you may have to purchase one of the Bluetooth dongles we tested. Please note: Due to the sheer number of different Bluetooth dongles available, we cannot test them all. However, dongles with similar specifications as the ones we have tested should also work.
